Can't wait for more buffy spinoffs... Ripper sounds like it might be good, but I'm hoping for "The Fabulous Adventures of Andrew." :-P

come closer, gentle viewer...

You mean Andrew, the Slayer of the VamPYRES? Or maybe Andrew, the Slayer Who Knew No Fear. *snerk*

The spin-off I'd love to see is a nice historical Ripper. Teenage Giles! Teenage Ethan Rayne! Done all Vertigo style too - it could be Hellblazer, Junior! Sex, drugs, rock and roll, and shitloads of demons. Awwww yeah. Heee...though they should put in on WB, so they could have even MORE gratuitous DC character crossovers...

Last I heard, they had Anthony Stewart Head lined up for Ripper, so without a lotta CG, they're probably just going to do flashbacks to his ticking-magic-time-bomb days... Which is unfortunate, because they'll get an actor with a horrible accent to keep up with the horrible-accents-in-flashbacks precedent set by Angel.

Ha ha! Poor Giles, the only Real Brit (tm) in all of Buffyland. I think...

And awwww...no ChibiGiles? *whimper* Much as I adore the Tony, I'm not sure he'll be able to carry a series all by his lonesome. C'mon - they could do it all Young Indiana Jones style. He could show up for a few episodes and look nostalgic. Or hit vampires with a flaming baseball bat - that's always nice. If they DON'T bring Ethan back and have him make regular appearances, though, I will kick some serious ass. I love that fey little Chaos-bastard.

I'm sure he he'll have backup... If they don't go for the "Young Indiana Jones" Style they could bring in Willow... The relationship between Giles and Willow is pretty well defined., AFAIK, the guy who plays Wesley isn't doing much after Angel... Which, btw, is confusing to watch alternating episodes between the 2nd and 4th seasons... Jumping between "I'm Wesley Wyndham-Pryce, and I'm looking for my employer" Wesley and the akimbo-pistol-wielding, is that a shotgun in your trench-coat or are you just happy to see me? Wesley is a little unnerving...

rrr... anyway... if they did go for the Young Indy thing, I can't think of any good mini-Giles candidates...

BTW, holy crap, I didn't know they guy who played Ethan was also in "Galaxy Quest"... I loved that film...
