SILAS LOVES YOU!
Jul. 28th, 2003 07:45 pmHe does. It's written on the sidewalk pavement a few blocks north of me, so it must be true.
I had a lovely day off. Sat around much of it, being slackerly, before deciding I needed to dig through bins of poor misplaced photos at Uncommon Objects. Now I have a group shot of some young swinging 30's things, one of a couple on a porch inexplicably holding a bucket, a family shot out by a tree in which a girl is wearing a deliciously bedraggled early 20th century hat, two men climbing up rocks holding a chain and wearing rucksacks, and two rather dapper gentlemen who have set up a picnic (including wine!) in some scrubby hills. The bottom reads "LLanganuco 7/2/47" and they appear to be eating fried chicken.
It's an addiction, a sick sick addiction, which I can only occasionally justify by giving the photo-people names and incorporating them into LARP-ish backgrounds. Hell, I have an entire series of photos of a girl named Alice, from her infant pictures all the way up until she's in her late twenties. I am a stalker undeterred by my location in the space-time continuum.
