Arrrrg! I've lost my left earring! Not the most horrifying thing in the world, I guess, unless you realize that I've been wearing the same damn ones since...oh, 1995, I'd say. Maybe '94. I just noticed this instant. Spent the day stomping around and getting things done: new socks, new battery for my watch, lots and lots of fun things from Goodwill and Salvation Army. It must have gotten pulled out while I was yanking obscenely striped sweater-vests over my head.

Damn. Wonder if the hippie-folk at the Market off Guadalupe have this kind of earring. They SHOULD, the bastards.
