I've finally grown up enough to admit that The Road Warrior is a far better movie than Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. I still love Pig Killer, still think that bungee fighting is an excellent way to settle an argument, but mannnn. It's like realizing how stupid the Ewoks were. A piece of my childhood has died.

That being said, the folks at Death Guild have helped me re-evaluate my priorities. I realize that I don't care at ALL how successful I am in terms of the 'real' world - I just want to beat the shit out of someone with a foam sword.

How is it possible that I never saw this on TV?
Thanks Katie!

Strange coincidence, I was thinking of those two movies just the other day. I don't know if I can agree with you though, I mean Tina Turner? "Well, ain't we a pair....raggedy-man". Hard to get better than that.

Tina Turner is her OWN movie. The leap into the center of the Thunderdome alone! Oh, Aunty. We know you'd kill all the chipper dreadlocked orphans if you had a chance. Okay, not all of them, the kid with the skull face and the frying pan can live.

It's very strange watching Road Warrior again after all of Farscape. Virginia Hey, shouldn't you be BLUE?
